Description
The Hi-Lift Patriot Edition Jack, part number HILPAT-485, is a 48-inch all-cast jack constructed with cast iron components. It features a blue powder coated finish with zinc-plated hardware, a white powder coated two-piece handle and socket, and a red handle-keeper. This versatile tool is designed for lifting, pushing, pulling, winching, and clamping. It includes an adjustable top clamp/clevis. Key specifications include a safety bolt designed to shear at 7,000 pounds, a 4.5-inch long lifting nose, and climbing pins made from specially processed steel with 125,000 PSI tensile strength and 100,000 PSI yield. The steel bar is made of extra high carbon steel with 80,000 minimum tensile strength and carbon .69 to .82; it is reversible for extended life. The steel handle is constructed from 14-gauge high-yield structural tubing with a minimum yield of 55,000 PSI. The lifting unit automatically drops away for speedy disengaging when the load is removed.
