Description
The Teraflex JL: Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier Kit, part number TER4838900, is designed to accommodate up to a 40 inch tire. This carrier secures a full-size spare tire and provides access to the rear cargo area in one action. It uses factory tailgate hinge mounting points to spread the load. The design includes a one-piece forged steel hinge and vertical braces to eliminate stress from the tailgate. Additional mounting points are provided for off-road accessories like recovery jacks and fluid containers. The adjustable tire carrier component is constructed from 6061-T6 extruded aluminum.
