1. Overview

Rubicon Station Web Imports ("the Application") connects to your eBay seller account via the official eBay Trading API to import your active listings — including titles, descriptions, photos, item specifics, pricing, and shipping details — into the Rubicon Station inventory system. This policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and your rights.

2. eBay Data We Access

When you authorize the Application, we request access to the following eBay data:

  • Inventory & Listings: active listing titles, descriptions, categories, conditions, and quantities.
  • Product Information: item specifics such as OEM/manufacturer part numbers, brand, and compatibility/fitment data.
  • Images: listing photos hosted on eBay's image servers.
  • Pricing: current listing prices and buy-it-now prices.
  • Shipping: domestic and international shipping services and costs configured on your listings.
  • Account Data: your eBay seller account identifier and active listing references.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To import and display your eBay listings within the Rubicon Station storefront.
  • To keep imported inventory synchronized with your eBay seller account.
  • To generate SEO-ready product content for the Rubicon Station website.
  • To provide administrative tools for managing imported parts.

We do not use your data for advertising, sell your data to third parties, or share it with unaffiliated services.

4. Data Storage & Security

Imported listing data is stored securely within the Rubicon Station platform. eBay authorization tokens are encrypted at rest and never exposed in client-side code, URLs, or logs. Access is restricted to authorized Rubicon Station administrators.

5. Data Retention

We retain imported listing data for as long as the corresponding part is in inventory. When a listing is removed from eBay or you revoke access, we will delete the associated imported records upon request.

6. Your Rights & Revoking Access

You may revoke the Application's access to your eBay account at any time from your eBay account settings under Account → Connections → Manage your connected apps. Revoking access stops all future data imports but does not automatically delete previously imported records — contact us to request deletion.

7. eBay Marketplace Account Deletion

In compliance with eBay's Marketplace Account Deletion/Closure notifications, we maintain a public endpoint to receive deletion requests. When eBay notifies us that an account has been deleted or closed, we delete all associated data within 30 days.
